CBU Youth Acting Academy
CBU Youth Acting Academy (YAA), in partnership with Inland Empire Musical Arts, provides youth ages 8-17 with high quality theatre arts experience that integrates drama, movement, music and stagecraft.
AFTERNOON PROGRAMS
September to May
FALL SEMESTER CLASS START DATE: September 12, 2022
Taught by CBU Theatre Faculty, Staff, and Students, CBU Youth Acting Academy offers afternoon classes for students ages 8 - 17.
Held on campus at California Baptist University at the Wallace Theatre, classes are held weekly in the Fall and Spring Semesters.

One-week Acting Summer Camp (Grades 7-12)
Students study theatre in a safe, supportive environment
designed to nurture creativity, imagination, and individual growth.

Acting Ensemble (ages 8-11)
Mondays, 5:00pm – 5:55pm
Musical Theatre Workshop
Mondays, 5:00pm – 5:55pm (ages 12-17)
Mondays, 6:00pm – 6:55pm (ages 8-11)
Auditioning and Performance Technique Class (ages 12-17)
Mondays, 6:00pm – 6:55pm
Spring Musical Production:
The annual CBU Youth Acting Academy Spring Production is a real highlight for the year. Student apply the various techniques from the Fall Semester to build a large acting cast to grow and deepen skills and singing for the stage.
Spring Production will be announced soon. Student may sign up for an audition time slot below.
CBU Theatre Student Productions:
IEMA Students and Families can attend a weekday Student Matinee Production for $5 per ticket
OR
IEMA Students can attend a Regular Show Time FREE with paid adult ticket. $10 IEMA parent ticket.
