Designed for the more advanced high school-aged musician, the Honors Orchestra offers young musicians a string orchestral experience. A large ensemble working at a very high level, the orchestra sight-reads, rehearses, and performs the finest symphonic literature from a variety of musical style periods. In-depth musicianship classes and master classes will enhance this phenomenal experience.
Auditions Requirements: student grades 7-12, must audition.
The ensemble has been opened for students 7th grade to 12th grade. All students must pass an audition.

Audition Guidelines:
2-3 Octave scale, free piece of students choice (any style), and site reading assessment. The audition will last about 10 minutes.

CBU Scholarship Credits Earned: Students earn $1500 for each semester enrolled in the class. Scholarship funds are only accrued by students in grades 9-12.
